The ice cream parlor in my backyard – The Daily Scoop

image

What’s the best thing to have after a 2-hour cycle?

image

Ice cream.

And it gets even better: The Daily Scoop, now available one street away from home.

Nothing fancy, just an unpretentious interior with chairs and tables for enjoyment of yummy handmade ice cream.

Chinese New Year specials are still available. Ginger Ingots is for the ginger fanatic, Longan Red Dates has a really strong dried longan taste, and Yuzu Peach Blossom is heavenly.

One more place to go after long cycles/dinners!

I love my neighborhood.

Sweet to see someone else who loves this place. I love in one of the houses just behind this building(there’s like this neighbourhood at the back no one seems to notice haha) and am enjoying coming here before walking home to grab a scoop or three.

I hope it doesn’t close down, the stores that open up in that stretch never last. From thai food, to western, to a tuition centre, to chinese food etc. they all close down within a year or three. The only places there that have lasted are Canadian Pizza, Macs(since they own the building) and the LAN cafe

I share your hope! I haven’t lived in this neighborhood long enough to see the change in shops but I did wonder if they’ll get enough business. Hopefully more people like us patronise! 🙂
