Appreciating the small things

The weeks have been busy. Weekdays at work, weekends at events and volunteering sessions. I haven’t had the time to make the house feel more like a home.

So I do it in small steps, whenever I get a small window of time, starting with specific areas…

20130408-173441.jpglike the foyer, where the shoes, bags and dog-walking things go.

20130408-173555.jpgAnd the kitchen shelves, which were begging to be filled.

20130408-173709.jpgThen the kitchen hanger,

Then I get distracted, and watch the cat goof around…

Nice to know that someone’s having fun in the new home ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the interior design! It’s so beautifully simple. Could you recommend places to get furniture in Singapore?
