Well, to be honest, it’s far from happy. The trailers may lead you to think otherwise. A man with a puppet, who uses it to guide his life, seems to automatically suggest a comedy. And for the first half an hour of the show or so, you’d surely be laughing.

Then it gets heavy. And dark. And somewhat inspirational yet cautionary at the same time.

Sadly, I doubt this movie’s going to be popular. No, I’m sure. Which really doesn’t do justice to its brilliance.

Jodi Foster’s good, Mel Gibson’s genius.

I’m glad I watched it.
